Property investigation: which state gets you more?

With a skyrocketing property market, the number of people who are unable to afford their first home is growing. We’ve taken a good hard look at the property market and how much it has changed over the last 12 months.

So what can you really get for $700k? Following the same pattern as last year, it depends on where in Australia you’re looking.

Queensland

Last year, $700k could get you a 4-bedroom family home nestled in the middle of a lifestyle block. Twelve months later, despite rising nationwide house prices, it seems not much has changed in Queensland.

Although it’s still unlikely you’ll get a spacious home in the center of Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast for that price, if you’re willing to move into one of the surrounding suburbs, then your dream home could be there waiting for you.

6508/6 Marina Promenade Paradise Point Qld 4216
